Environment, Health and Safety Officer Mineral Sand Adelaide

We are currently seeking the skills and talents of an experienced Environment, Health and Safety Officer.

This position will require you to report into the Environmental Manager and will assist with the development and monitoring of the operations environmental and occupational health and safety systems.  You will he heavily involved with the Process, Mining and Maintenance managers and departments. 

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks and duties not limited to:

 - Assist in the preparation of site safety policies and procedures and with the implementation of such policies and procedures.

  - Collect and interpret site environmental and safety data to provide timely information and reports on performance to team members to ensure excellence in performance across the site.

 - Assist with the development and delivery of site inductions and provide training and guidance to all operations staff as required.

 - Conduct regular inspections of the operation, attend group safety meetings and toolbox meetings as required and liaise with site personnel and management to establish a positive environment and safety culture.

Ideally you will have a minimum Certificate IV in OHS with at least two years experience in a hands-on role in mining or construction environment coupled with Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable)

In return for your dedication and hard work our client is offering a selection of remuneration and career benefits. You will receive a generous basic salary in the region of $80k - $90k base, Super @9%
