Our Field Service Technicians/ Riggers are influential in delivering our vision into reality through planning and optional use of technology.  As world leaders in all aspects of Technology, from Research & Development, Design, Delivery and Management we are in an enviable position to generate value for our customers.

We seek experienced fields services technicians / riggers to join our newly created team across South Australia.   Reporting to the line manager you will be responsible for performing physical and mechanical activities, telecommunication infrastructure audits, installation of hardware/software systems and upgrades.   You will maintain and repair radio access nodes, core network transmission equipment on operational telecommunications networks.  A key component of this role is to interact with other technicians, customer technical staff and other groups within the Ericsson organisation.

With an already established reputation of excellence in the Telecommunications industry, we will provide you with a foundation upon to utilise and grow your existing skill set.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced field technician to help develop and grow something exciting with Ericsson.

To be considered candidates musty have a combination of most of the following experiences, qualifications and achievements: 
  • Demonstrated understanding of microwave and fibre transmission concepts.
  • Australian Rigging licence (intermediate or advanced).
  • Understand and implement RAN, RF and Transmission designs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings.
  • Decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • An Ability to work at heights.
